C.K. Jayaram Paniker MBBS (Madras) MD (AIIMS)
Is a former Director and Professor of Microbiology and Principal, Medical College, Calicut; Dean, Faculty of Medicine, University of Calicut and Emeritus Medical Scientist, Indian Council of Medical Research. He has over 30 years of experience in teaching and research in Microbiology. He is the recipient of the Dr B.C. Roy National Oration Award of the Indian Medical Council and the Dr Achanta Lakshmipathi Oration Award of the National Academy of Medical Sciences.
Dr Paniker is the co-author of a Textbook of Microbiology widely used in India and other developing countries.
