When the show is staged, Claudius jumps up and quickly leaves the theatre. Hamlet is now certain of his uncle’s guilt, and decides to seek revenge. The protagonist ends up killing six people, including Polonius, who was Claudius’s trusted chief counsellor. Laertes, Polonius’ son, is overcome with anger and Claudius takes full advantage of this. He encourages Laertes to take revenge on Hamlet. A sword fight between the men is organized, with poison-tipped blades. Hamlet is wounded. What will happen next?
